Alison Riseley-Clark

Alison Riseley-Clark, a native of New Zealand, moved to Canada in 1981 and completed a Masters degree in Organ Performance at McGill University in Montreal. During her studies, Alison competed in international organ competitions in Chartres (France), Bruges (Belgium), Manchester (England), and Ann Arbor, Michigan. Alison was one of about 10 females in a group of 75 competitors.  Alison has also recorded for Radio New Zealand and the CBC. 

Alison maintains a very active, professional career. She gives many concerts as she has become popular with audiences for her varied and interesting programs. In 2011, Alison gave a concert at King’s Chapel in Boston and then returned to Boston in 2012 to give a concert at Trinity Episcopal Church, Copley Square.

Currently, Alison is the music director at St Marks Anglican Church, Brantford, where she directs a children’s choir, chime choir, Chancel and Praise choirs, and plans a Lenten concert series for organists. She has also held church-positions in Montreal ( assistant at Christ Church Cathedral), Toronto (All Saints, Kingsway), Waterloo and Hilton Head (South Carolina).
