Stefani Bedin is a solo and collaborative performer, liturgical musician and pedagogue, active in her hometown of Toronto. In September 2017, Stefani began her pursuit of the Master of Music Degree in Organ Performance at the University of Toronto, where she also obtained the Bachelor of Music Degree in Music History and Theory (Honours) and a Minor in Historical Keyboard. She studies organ under the tutelage of Dr. Kevin Komisaruk. Stefani is also an accomplished pianist and obtained an A.R.C.T. in Piano Performance from the Royal Conservatory of Music in 2013, the same year in which she was awarded the Royal Canadian College of Organist’s Barwell Scholarship and began studying the organ.
Stefani is the Assistant Organist at St. Basil’s Roman Catholic Parish at the University of St. Michael’s College. She has also performed service-playing duties at other churches including Bloor Street United Church, where she served as the Organ Scholar for three years. During the 2014 and 2015 summer pilgrimage seasons, Stefani was an organist at the Martyrs’ Shrine in Midland, ON.
