Ottawa based organist and pianist, Jennifer Loveless holds a Masters degree in organ performance from McGill University, an Artist Diploma in piano performance from Concordia University and an Associate Diploma in piano performance from the Royal Conservatory of Music of Toronto. Previously organist at Erskine & American United Church in Montreal and interim organist at St. Matthews Anglican Church in Ottawa, Jennifer is currently organist at Notre Dame Cathedral in Ottawa.
A recipient of the Rich Little Endowment Fund for the Arts in 2003 and 2005, Jennifer was also awarded first prize in the 1997 RCCO John Robb Organ Competition, and second prize in the 1998 Florence and Stanley Osborne Organ Competition.
As soloist and collaborative artist, Jennifer has performed across Canada, England, Germany, Austria and the Czech Republic. She has appeared at Le Festival Orgue et Couleurs in Montreal, with the Montreal Organ Consort, the McGill University Orchestra, the Concordia University Orchestra, LEnsemble Vocal Musica Viva, the Ottawa Bach Choir, the York University Choir and the Ottawa Regional Youth Choir.
Jennifer accompanies the Carleton University Choir and is a vocal coach and collaborative artist for various studios and has worked with Darryl Edwards, Valerie Kinslow, Barbara Ross, Jan Simons and Winston Purdy and Dan Taylor. Jennifer has just recently released a CD with the Erskine Chamber Singers directed by Jean-Sébastien Allaire.
