Gordon Mansell
Gordon is co-artistic director with William O'Meara in ORGANIX 06. He has a diverse background in both music and business. Gordon earned his first degree in photographic sciences and graphic technology from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 1979. In 2002, he re-entered academia in the organ performance program at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Music and will graduate this coming May. Gordon's career has included his work as an executive producer, manager and marketing professional. His music vocation has been as a music director and church musician, a role he has performed in various Toronto churches since 1968. Mr. Mansell is currently Music Director and Organist at St. Basil's Church, the collegiate church of the University of St. Michael's College, University of Toronto. Gordon serves on the board of directors of the Toronto Centre Royal Canadian College of Organists and is on the steering committee for the 2009 RCCO national convention.
