Patrick McElcheran (hBA, ARCT) is a Toronto-based organist and tenor. He first became acquainted with the pipe organ at Trinity College at the University of Toronto, where he was choral scholar with the Trinity chapel choir. After receiving the RCCO’s Barwell scholarship, Patrick began lessons with Dr. John Tuttle. Patrick currently studies with Dr. Tuttle, and is in the process of completing his second year of the M.Mus program in Organ Performance at the University of Toronto. He has played in masterclasses with Ken Cowan, Charlotte Nediger, and Olivier Latry. Patrick has held positions at the Anglican churches of St. Martin-in-the-Fields, St. Thomas, and St. Luke’s Lakeview, and is currently the Wayne Vance organ scholar at the Cathedral Church of St. James, Toronto.
